Venstre hits record low in new poll

Venstre’s support has plummeted to a record low of 7.7% in the latest Voxmeter poll, marking the lowest point since 2001. With a potential outcome of only 14 parliamentary seats, they face a drastic reduction from the 23 seats won in the 2022 election. The decline is significant, yet political spokesman Torsten Schack urges to focus on future conservative achievements before the 2026 elections. Internal discord within Venstre and the departure of key figures like Lars Løkke Rasmussen and Inger Støjberg have weakened the party. Even as they form a government with the Social Democrats, and despite making key deals, the polls continue to fall. The Social Democrats lead with 20.9%, followed by Liberal Alliance at a high of 16.0% and SF at 13.7%.
