Boeing workers end 7-Week strike
33,000 striking factory workers will return to work at Boeing’s factories in and around Seattle after voting to accept a negotiated agreement with the aircraft manufacturer, according to Reuters. The agreement, approved by 59 percent of the striking employees, was negotiated by the IAM union and Boeing management, and includes a 43.65 percent wage increase over four years. Jon Holden, union leader responsible for most of Boeing’s factory workers in Seattle, stated in an IAM press release that the members have stood up for their right to respect and fair compensation.
