Unified travel app to integrate various services

Rejsekort and Rejseplan A/S company plans to develop a ‘superapp’ that will consolidate multiple travel-related applications, allowing users to plan trips and purchase tickets within a single platform, as reportet by MobilityTech. According to Jens Willars, a customer director at the firm, the app aims to facilitate public transportation usage, especially during complex journeys with multiple transfers or unexpected delays. Regional apps DOT and Midttrafik will be phased out by 2025. The existing Rejseplanen, Rejsebillet, and Rejsekort apps will continue to function until the new app is fully developed, although the timeline for the launch is not specified.
