
Denmark receives €407m for cybersecurity and green transport
Denmark has received a payment of DKK 3.1 billion from the EU’s recovery fund, as announced by the Ministry of Finance. The fund was established post-COVID to mitigate the pandemic’s impact on the economies of EU countries through green investments. Denmark has achieved 43 of the 93 objectives required by the fund, which include advancements in cybersecurity, green technology, and sustainable transportation. Since the first installment of DKK 2.2 billion in 2023, Denmark has met 18 additional goals. It expects to receive a total of DKK 10.7 billion in several installments by 2026. Finance Minister Nicolai Wammen expressed pride in the country’s robust economy and emphasized the ongoing green investments driving both economic and climate sustainability.
