Young Swede charged with smuggling explosives

A 17-year-old Swedish citizen has been arrested in connection to an attempted bombing in Odense, Denmark, in December. According to fyens.dk, the suspect is accused of transporting 4.4 kilograms of plastic explosives from Sweden to Denmark with others. During a closed court session on Tuesday, the judge at the Court in Odense ordered the boy to be held in custody for four weeks, as stated by prosecutor Daniel Dokkedahl of Fyns Police. The teenager has pleaded not guilty. Two other men, aged 19 and 20, have been previously detained on charges of attempted manslaughter for intending to detonate the bomb on Nyborgvej.
