4 out of 5 satisfied with home care in new survey
Occasionally, home care receives criticism due to horror stories of citizens not receiving the service and treatment they are entitled to. However, many are very satisfied with the help they receive. A nationwide user satisfaction survey revealed that 78% of participants are satisfied or very satisfied with their home care, while 6% are dissatisfied. The survey indicated areas for improvement, such as the ability to influence how and when help is provided and the consistency of staff visiting users. Starting July 1, a new elder law will give elders more choice in their care. The survey is the first of its kind, with plans to repeat it biennially.
