Three men acquitted of barber student murder

In Glostrup, Denmark, three men charged with the murder of a 17-year-old barber apprentice in December 2021 have been acquitted. The shooting, which took place at Frisør Yomok salon in Rødovre, was initially thought to be a revenge attack for a previous murder linked to the NNV gang. Despite evidence including DNA found in a car and clothing traces linked to the suspects, the court did not find it sufficient to confirm the presence of one accused during the incident. The majority of the jury and judges deemed the collective evidence inadequate for a guilty verdict. While one of the three remains in custody related to a separate incident, the prosecution may consider an appeal.
