Elon Musk’s firm to provide fast internet for SAS passengers

Starlink, part of Elon Musk’s SpaceX, will offer fast internet to SAS passengers, as announced in a press release. This service aims to eliminate frustrating Wi-Fi outages even over the Atlantic or North Sea. The rollout is scheduled to start by late 2025, and SAS passengers will have free access to Starlink’s service. Starlink boasts the first and largest satellite constellation with coverage in over 100 countries. Other airlines, like United Airlines, will also implement Starlink’s Wi-Fi solutions, with expectations to provide the service across all their flights. Starlink’s Jason Fritch said they look forward to delivering an internet connection that is on par with, or better than, what passengers have at home, unaffected by the airplane’s location.
