Sunset Boulevard hits record sales again

Denmark’s largest domestically owned fast-food chain, Sunset Boulevard, has broken its revenue record for the fourth consecutive year, achieving a pre-tax profit of 41.8 million Danish kroner, an increase of over 12 million kroner from the previous year. The chain has seen an average annual growth of 22 percent, nearly doubling its turnover from 2020 to 2024. Investments in digital services have paid off, with over 75% of their revenue coming via digital platforms such as apps, self-service kiosks, and online ordering. This growth includes reducing service times at drive-thru locations, with 43.5% of customers waiting less than three and a half minutes for their meal. In 2024, Sunset Boulevard opened new outlets in Korsør, Varde, and Copenhagen, with ambitious expansion plans, including their first store in Germany, and further openings in Denmark slated for 2029.
