New agreement for transport workers

3F Transport and the Confederation of Danish Industry have agreed on a three-year collective bargaining agreement affecting 186,000 employees in the transport sector. The agreement establishes a norm wage framework and covers drivers, warehouse workers, and port workers, setting standards for the corresponding private sector employees until March 1, 2028. This breakthrough agreement was reached after a month of negotiations. Previously, on February 9, a deal for 230,000 industrial workers was reached, enhancing the optional benefits account from 9% to 11% and increasing employer pension contributions by one percentage point from 2025. Additionally, a new deal for shop employees was agreed upon, promising a monthly wage increase of 1723 kroner by 2027.
