Quick police reconstruction in Meng case
During a swift operation on an April morning in 2017, the police attempted to reconstruct the scene of a car leaving Korsør Station around the time of Emilie Meng’s disappearance. The reconstruction had a narrow time frame of about ten minutes, coinciding with the dawn light conditions of the morning she vanished a year earlier. In court in Næstved, where a 33-year-old man is accused of Meng’s murder, a long-time police employee emphasized the urgency of the reconstruction. The objective was to identify the make and model of a vehicle caught on camera at 04:07 AM on July 10, 2016, shortly after Meng and others had arrived by train. While others were accounted for, the identity of the person in the mysterious car remains undetermined as they haven’t come forward to the police.
