Israel boosts Lebanon operation
Israel is escalating its Lebanon operation by deploying infantry and armor from the 36th Division, 188th Armored Brigade, and 6th Infantry Brigade, complementing the 98th Division’s prior deployment. Following clashes between Hezbollah militants and Israeli soldiers near Adaysseh village, Hezbollah also launched rocket attacks on Israeli forces. Israel’s offensive, which includes airstrikes, aims to target Hezbollah infrastructure to allow 60,000 displaced Israelis to return home. The ground offensive succeeds heightened tensions, including the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. Iran retaliated with missiles against Israel, while Hezbollah affirms its attacks as solidarity with Hamas in Gaza.
