Man charged in fatal crash also in earlier accident

Two people died in a traffic accident in northeast Randers on Friday, reported East Jutland Police on social media. The 35-year-old woman and 31-year-old man’s next of kin have been notified. A 56-year-old man involved in the accident has been arrested and charged with reckless driving and two counts of negligent manslaughter. Three vehicles were involved in the incident, the circumstances of which are not yet clarified. The deceased were in the same car. The 56-year-old had also been in another collision nearby earlier that day. There were no major injuries from the first incident. East Jutland Police have not confirmed whether the man fled the first scene. He was at the hospital around 5 PM for an examination, and there are no other severe injuries reported from the two incidents. The police will announce the time of the preliminary court hearing.
