Jysk hits sales record with 40 Billion revenue

Jysk, a Danish retail chain specializing in home goods and furniture, has achieved a new sales record with a turnover of DKK 41.4 billion, marking a 7.6% increase compared to the previous year. The company now operates over 3,400 stores across 48 countries. Despite a challenging start to the fiscal year, the company attributes its success to competitive pricing and quality products. In the last year alone, Jysk opened 137 new stores and plans to expand into Morocco next spring. However, they were compelled to close 21 stores in Germany due to a mismatch with the new store concept. Rami Jensen, CEO, affirmed the company’s commitment to profitable growth with a vision to eventually reach 5,000 stores offering Scandinavian home deals. The final annual report, including the year’s results, is scheduled for release on November 28.
