Zelensky to meet Frederiksen at Security Conference
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is scheduled to meet Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen at the Munich Security Conference. He will also address the conference on Saturday and conduct bilateral meetings, including talks with U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and other dignitaries. Zelensky plans to visit Germany and France Friday for discussions with Chancellor Olaf Scholz and President Emmanuel Macron, respectively. Ukraine, facing a tough situation at the eastern frontlines with ammunition shortages and ongoing Russian attacks, is nearing two years since the invasion. Doubts about economic support linger due to a US aid package caught up in congressional disagreements, despite the EU’s recent yet delayed aid package approval. NATO has now announced ammunition supplies worth 75 billion DKK, aiming to increase production, though there may be delays in delivery.
