Copenhagen Pride partnership exodus grows

The list of companies and organizations withdrawing their collaboration with Copenhagen Pride is expanding. Nykredit is the latest to terminate its partnership, citing doubts about Copenhagen Pride’s focus and the values they support as a business. This concern follows months of debate surrounding Copenhagen Pride. The growing list of withdrawn partners includes names like Maersk, Novo Nordisk, and Confederation of Danish Industries. The partnership withdrawals began after Copenhagen Pride allegedly asked potential partners to position themselves on the Israel-Gaza conflict. On February 14, Copenhagen Pride declared solidarity with the Palestinian people. In March, Lars Henriksen, chairperson for Copenhagen Pride, apologized for the organization’s poor communication.
