Final mink pelts auction at Kopenhagen Fur in June
The world’s largest fur auction house, Kopenhagen Fur, will hold its final trading day on June 6, offering a collection of 3.7 million mink pelts, as announced in their press release. The last auction will take place between June 1 and June 6 in the auction house located in Glostrup. The pelts being offered are from fur farming in 2020, and no new pelts have been received since then, the auction house informed Ritzau. Jesper Lauge Christensen, the CEO of Kopenhagen Fur, indicated that the auctions usually draw strong buyers from main markets in Asia and Europe.
