PM Mette F. criticizes lack of rival candidate
Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen of Denmark critiqued the blue bloc (opposition) for not presenting a prime minister candidate during the parliamentary closing debate. She sarcastically remarked that locating a conservative politician willing to take on the heavy responsibility is harder than finding a parent at a parent-teacher meeting who will agree to write the minutes. Her comments followed a playful hypothetical scenario she described involving the Denmark Democrats and Liberal Alliance coordinating criticism against the government and the Prime Minister prior to the debate.
