Ex-vice president Mike Pence to visit Denmark
Former U.S. Vice President Mike Pence is set to visit Denmark in April to speak at a conference attended by Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and former U.S. Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, as announced by newspaper Børsen. Pence served as vice president from 2017 to 2021 under President Donald Trump, from whom he has since distanced himself, notably over Trump’s election fraud claims and the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021. During the Børsen and McKinsey annual conference, Pence will share his views on what the world can expect if Trump were to become president again, focusing on issues like NATO, geopolitics, and the economy. This marks the second time Børsen and McKinsey are hosting the conference, which aims to provide insights into the foremost macroeconomic, geopolitical, and technological trends and the potential for Denmark and its business community.
