20-year-old arrested in threats against schools case

A young man in Ballerup is suspected by the police of sending threats to a large number of schools in Jutland and in the Copenhagen area, threatening to kill, Copenhagen Vestegns Police said in a press release on Wednesday. The man is 20 years old and was arrested during a police operation on Baltorp Road by officers wearing helmets and bulletproof vests, sn.dk reported. The police stress that the investigation is far from over. “We urge the schools that have experienced threats in this case to contact us so that all relevant information can be included in the investigation,” says Deputy Police Inspector Morten Steen. /ritzau/
