Netanyahu doll seized at Copenhagen protest

During a pro-Palestinian demonstration in Copenhagen on Saturday, the police confiscated a doll with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s face and the phrase ‘wipe out Israel’ on its leg. According to Jonathan Wald, Duty Officer at Copenhagen Police, the incident is being investigated and no disorder related to the demonstration has been reported. Simultaneous pro-Palestinian protests occurred globally, with occurrences of temporary arrests in Berlin and violent clashes in Rome where the unauthorised demonstration was considered a security risk by Italian authorities out of concern for glorification of terrorism. Additionally, in London, 17 individuals were arrested during a protest, some for supporting a banned organization and displaying support for the Lebanese militia Hezbollah.
