Young romanians killed in silo collapse, search ongoing
Two young Romanian men, aged 20 and 25, lost their lives in a silo collapse on Fyn, Denmark, which also injured six others, including Romanian, Polish, and Belgian nationals, ranging from 19 to 49 years old. Families of the victims have been informed. Ten people were working on and around the silo when the accident happened; one escaped unharmed while one is still missing. Rescue operations continue through the night, aiming to save lives but are hindered by the challenging conditions, including 750 tons of solidified concrete. The site remains cordoned off while recovery efforts proceed. The biogas plant was being expanded at the time of the incident. Flemløse Biogas can produce enough gas to heat 3,500 homes or cover 112 million kilometers driven by car.
