Former MP Britt Bager becomes Moderates’ secretary
Britt Bager, an ex-member of the Danish Parliament for the Conservative Party and the Liberal Party has been appointed as the new secretary for the political party ‘Moderaterne’ effective March 1. She replaces Kirsten Munch Andersen, who resigned last September to provide peace following a complaint regarding a poor work environment in the party’s headquarters. Lars Løkke Rasmussen, the party chairman, commends Bager’s political capacity and organizational skills as crucial for the party’s ambition to establish itself both locally and nationally. Britt Bager had switched from the Liberal Party to the Conservative Party in 2021 as she was missing a ‘national-conservative leg’ in the Liberal Party. She’s returning to politics from her advisory role in Kraka Advisory, aiming to strengthen ‘Moderaterne’ for the upcoming municipal and regional elections.
