Kristeligt Dagblad: Do not use the past as a political battleground

It is striking how new archaeological findings tend to mirror contemporary doctrines and, curiously enough, often deal with gender equality, multiculturalism, or other matters that everyone agrees are good things. We should remind ourselves that the research agenda in archaeology can also be infected by modern media realities.
