Host duo returns for Danish Eurovision prelims

Denmark’s biggest music competition, Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, will air on March 1 on DR1, hosted again by Sara Bro and Stéphanie Surrugue, as announced by DR. Taking place at the Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning, this year’s competition will feature eight contenders vying for the trophy and the chance to represent Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. Both Bro and Surrugue, dedicated fans and hosts from the previous year, are excited to be part of what they call Denmark’s ‘greatest party bus.’ The event celebrates Danish and European cultural traditions beyond the music. Last year, it attracted over a million Danish viewers, highlighting its capacity to create unity and engagement nationwide.
