Danish astronaut Andreas Mogensen returns from space
Danish astronaut Andreas Mogensen has returned to Earth after nearly six months in space, as shown in a NASA live broadcast. He and three colleagues landed in the ocean off the coast of Florida. The entire landing process went according to plan, with even the weather and sea conditions being ideal. The spacecraft, Crew Dragon Endurance, detached from the International Space Station (ISS) on Monday afternoon and landed about 18 hours later. Rescue vessels reached the capsule to assist the astronauts out. After landing, Mogensen, who needed help adjusting to gravity, was the first astronaut to be helped out of the capsule. During his ISS mission since August 26 of the previous year, he conducted ten different experiments, including filming thunderstorms and testing a 3D metal printer and virtual reality for exercise and mental health.
