Network charged for organizing drug transport to Denmark

Five individuals were arrested in Serbia, accused of organizing drug shipments to Nordic countries, including Denmark, as reported by Eurojust, the EU entity for cross-national prosecution cooperation. Danish authorities participated in a coordinated raid with Serbian police against the network. These arrests are part of a broader investigation, which has resulted in several convictions in Denmark, according to the National Unit for Special Crime (NSK). The Serbian network is responsible for delivering significant quantities of narcotics and opioids to Denmark. Vice Police Inspector Lars Feldt-Rasmussen mentioned that collaboration led to seizures of over 25 kilograms of hard drugs and more than 200,000 pills. The suspects allegedly transported cocaine, amphetamines, and cannabis via trucks from Spain and the Netherlands to Nordic nations, hiding drugs in secret compartments often alongside firearms.
