18 Danes evacuated from Greek resort due to wildfire

Due to a forest fire near the Kardamena area on the Greek island of Kos, travel company TUI has evacuated nine Danes, informed TUI Denmark’s communication chief Mikkel Hansen. Guests were moved to a safer location, a stadium or conference room, prioritizing their safety. Throughout the day, guests were kept informed via text messages about the fire and the necessary safety measures. Meanwhile, nine additional Danish guests, six Norwegians, and about fifty Swedes have also been evacuated.
