Alex Vanopslagh becomes father to son Arthur

Alex Vanopslagh, leader of the Liberal Alliance, has become a father again. He announced on Instagram the birth of his son Arthur at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, expressing gratitude to the hospital’s midwives. Vanopslagh has another son, Milton, from a previous relationship. He will take paternity leave starting Thursday and return to the Danish Parliament on July 1st, as confirmed by the party’s press department. During his absence, Lisa Perkins, approved as his substitute, will serve in his place for a bit over two months. Sólbjørg Jakobsen, the Liberal Alliance’s political spokesperson, will assume some of Vanopslagh’s usual duties, such as participating in the parliamentary question session with Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.
