Four Danes Set for Home After Thai Crash
Four Danes who were hospitalized after a serious traffic accident in Thailand are ready to travel home, as per Falck Global Assistance. All thirteen victims are now out of life-threatening danger. The logistics of their return is complicated by the busy travel season due to the Chinese New Year. Coordination among Falck, SOS International, and Gouda Travel Insurance is ongoing to ensure the patients’ return with minimal discomfort. Sune Vibits anticipates that the remaining nine individuals will follow soon, depending on their medical clearance. The incident, which involved 19 to 25-year-old Danes on a bus that went off the road and into a ravine near Chiang Mai, resulted in the death of the driver and left some passengers with severe injuries. All have since been moved out of intensive care.
