Denmark imposes no limits on Ukraine aid use

Denmark has set no geographic restrictions on how Ukraine can use Danish donations for defense, adhering to international law. This clarification from Denmark’s Defense Ministry comes nearly two weeks after Ukraine initiated incursions on Russian territory. Denmark has provided numerous contributions to Ukraine since the 2022 invasion, including 19 F-16 jets and 19 Caesar howitzers. 64.8 billion DKK has been dedicated to the Ukraine fund, with decisions made for about 43 billion DKK thus far. Despite varying reports of Ukraine’s advancements, evacuation has been necessitated in the Kursk and Belgorod regions in Russia, with over 100,000 people evacuated in Kursk. Recently, British combat vehicles were reportedly used in Russia, as British policy allows their donations to be used for self-defense, with potential use in Russian territory. Ukrainian Presidential Advisor Mykhajlo Podoljak suggests the offensive aims to push Russia into ‘fair’ negotiations.
