Moderates hit record low support since election

The Moderate Party has reached its lowest point in a Voxmeter poll since the parliamentary election in November 2022, with only 3.5% support, indicating a potential reduction to seven seats in parliament. This dip comes amid controversies surrounding the party, including stories of a poor work environment and the resignation of party secretary Kirsten Munch Andersen amidst a series of firings and voluntary resignations of staff. Political spokesperson Monika Rubin acknowledges the potential impact of internal strife on voter support, emphasizing a focus on improving the work environment over polling concerns. The work environment issues were highlighted by a five-page report submitted to the Labor Inspectorate, as revealed by B.T., which coincided with the departure of MP Jeppe Søe, who disagreed with the leadership’s handling of the situation.
