Danish government raises economic growth forecast

The Danish government has revised its economic growth forecast, expecting a 3% increase in the national economy this year, up from a 1.9% prediction made in August. Economy Minister Stephanie Lose will present the Economic Report today. She highlighted that the pharmaceutical industry, particularly Novo Nordisk, has been a key growth driver, but now growth is becoming more broadly based across sectors. Lose also noted the increasing purchasing power of Danes, controlled inflation, high employment, and a stable housing market. The government projects a rise in real wages and anticipates over 3% growth in house prices.
