Seven men jailed in mid-Zealand arms case

Seven men were remanded in custody on Thursday in Roskilde Court, as reported by prosecutor Jelena Hansen from the National Unit for Special Crime (NSK). The men were arrested Wednesday for possession of an automatic weapon. The court believed there was justified suspicion of their guilt and that they might impede the investigation if released. The NSK’s Deputy Chief Police Inspector, Lars Feldt-Rasmussen, conveyed that the individuals are linked to an organized criminal environment, with two having direct ties to gang environments. Additionally, ammunition was seized along with the weapon. The ages of the detained range between 19 to 40 years. Details from Thursday’s closed-door court session remain undisclosed for investigative reasons.
