Politiken: Rule of law on discount

Few positions within a rule of law like Denmark’s are more important than that of a lay judge. The fact that prices and salaries have risen significantly has not been reflected in the remuneration for lay judges. Many lose money by sitting in court. That they consider leaving the position under these conditions is hardly blameworthy.
