Gang affiliate arrested in grenade case
Copenhagen Police arrested a 41-year-old Danish man suspected to be connected to a case involving a 25-year-old Swede recently jailed for possession of grenades. The detainee, with alleged gang ties, will face a preliminary hearing. The Swede was caught Tuesday night in Tingbjerg with two grenades intended to cause harm in Copenhagen. The Danish suspect is believed to have facilitated the storage and transport of the explosives. Hearings are being conducted behind closed doors to protect ongoing investigations, as ties between Danish and Swedish criminals are scrutinized. Other arrests, including a 21-year-old in Sweden linked to violence in Denmark, highlight the cross-border crime issue.
