Club worker sentenced, victim also convicted

A 51-year-old man, Jesper Witte, was sentenced to indefinite custody for multiple sexual assaults against minors committed while he was employed at various youth clubs. The Hillerød Court found him guilty of eight counts involving victims aged between 8 and 18, spanning from 2007 to 2013 and from 2020 to 2023. Witte was also convicted for a series of indecencies, with some assaults recorded by him. The court ordered his indefinite imprisonment due to the significant risk he posed to others. Additionally, one of Witte’s victims, now 29, was convicted of attempted rape against a boy under 12 and received a one-year sentence, with six months suspended. Witte partially admitted his guilt during the trial and is appealing for acquittal on certain charges and seeks a lesser sentence.
