Citizens evacuated in Korsør following chemical discovery

A man was killed in an explosion earlier in Korsør, prompting the police to evacuate residents within a 500-meter radius from the incident location. The evacuation followed the discovery of a significant amount of chemicals and explosive materials at Broholmvej 144, according to South Zealand and Lolland-Falster Police. As of 01:00 AM Tuesday, police had contacted around 100 citizens to initiate the evacuation. This discovery is in addition to earlier reports of explosive substances found in an outbuilding at the same address.
