Young Danish Man Dies After Accident in Spain

An 18-year-old Danish man died after climbing an electricity mast in Carlet near Valencia, Spain. He was part of an exchange group. His school, Skanderborg-Odder Center for Uddannelse, confirmed the death on an exchange trip, expressing deep sorrow and announcing support measures for classmates. Director Pia Marlo expressed profound grief and mentioned plans to provide guidance for the remaining students. The exchange group of 23 students was staying with local families in the Valencia area. Following the incident, 40 youths are being assisted by psychologists. The young man was unconscious when found, and despite medical attention, attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. The local school in Carlet extended condolences and has provided psychological support for the affected students.
