Aarstiderne CEO resigns abruptly after a year
Heidi Boye has resigned as CEO of Aarstiderne, a meal kit company part of the Dagrofa group. According to Food Supply, the unexpected departure comes after less than a year in the position. Tomas Pietrangeli, chairman of Aarstiderne, emphasized the need for broad and full support for the CEO within the company, hinting at a lack of backing for Boye. Thomas Slott has been appointed as the interim CEO. Established in 1999, Aarstiderne initially delivered vegetable boxes but expanded into meal kits and online grocery sales. The company bounced back from a 35 million kroner loss in 2022 to a 10 million kroner profit in 2023 by focusing on core competencies and improving cost-efficiency. Last year, Dagrofa signed an agreement to purchase Aarstiderne.
