The municipal emergency response is increasingly tasked with new responsibilities without corresponding upgrades in equipment and training. The director of emergency services fears that firefighters and others are at an increasing risk of falling short in face of more complex accidents. The Local Government Denmark has a five-point plan proposal to strengthen emergency response services.
