Minister Løhde unwell at elderly care meeting

Denmark’s Minister for the Interior and Health, Sophie Løhde, experienced a brief ill turn at a major elderly care conference, as confirmed by the Ministry. She is in good condition following the incident and has returned home. The conference, which took place in Fredericia, was attended by approximately 2,000 people, including Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and numerous government ministers and representatives from the elder care sector. The event was part of a government effort to discuss elderly welfare after a proposal for elderly care reform was introduced. 40-year-old Løhde has been serving as the Minister of the Interior and Health since December 15, 2022, and has a background in health, elderly care, and public innovation ministries.
