DSV and Flying Tiger settle dispute

Danish logistics firm DSV and Zebra, the company behind Flying Tiger Copenhagen, have settled a dispute involving 500 million Danish kroner, reports Shippingwatch. The conflict arose from a two-year agreement set before the pandemic, which stressed the logistics market. Despite a fixed-price agreement, DSV raised prices during the pandemic, which Flying Tiger viewed as a contract breach. There was also an issue with DSV not providing the promised container space. Although Zebra, in its 2023 annual report, stated it paid the higher freight rates under protest and sought resolution through dialogue, the matter advanced to the Maritime and Commercial Court. The case was scheduled for trial from August to October this year, but a settlement has now been reached, the details of which have not been disclosed.
