Banksy exhibition coming to Copenhagen

An exhibition on the enigmatic graffiti artist and painter Banksy is set to arrive in Denmark in 2025. Announced by CSB Island Entertainment and Julius Production, ‘The Mystery of Banksy – A Genius Mind’ will open at Art Maze on May 16, bringing over 150 re-created motifs from the street artist, including graffiti, photographs, and video installations. Art Maze, a venue opened in 2023 by Louise Hagbarth and musician Mattias Kolstrup, will host the event. The exhibition is not officially authorized and will not feature original works but instead offers an immersive experience in a relaxed environment. More than 2.5 million visitors have attended since its 2021 Munich premiere. Banksy’s real artworks have been influential around the world and in auction houses, despite his successfully concealed identity. Ticket sales for the Copenhagen exhibition started Tuesday.
