Donald Trump named Time’s Person of the Year again

Time Magazine has chosen Donald Trump as Person of the Year for the second time as he prepares for his second term as President of the United States. The announcement came from the magazine’s website, citing that we are living in the ‘age of Trump’, no matter if one is a fervent supporter or a staunch critic. Trump survived an assassination attempt and won the presidency again in 2024, defeating Democratic candidate Kamala Harris in the November 5th election. Time has been awarding the Person of the Year title since 1927 to those who have significantly impacted the year. Trump joins the rank of past recipients, including Adolf Hitler, Martin Luther King, and Winston Churchill, and is not the first to receive it more than once.
