More passengers and rates uplift Copenhagen Airport
Copenhagen Airports’ revenue surged by 23% to over one billion kroner in Q1 due to increased passenger numbers and airport charges introduced at the start of the year. New charges now stand at 217 DKK per passenger, a 28% uptick. Despite the rise, the airport is still 9% below 2019’s passenger levels. Q1 saw 5.8 million travelers, 11% higher than in 2023, and forecasts hint at potentially higher traffic with planned flights by SAS and Norwegian.
