Terror convict Samsam releases spy memoir

Ahmed Samsam, sentenced to six years in Denmark for terrorism, has released a book detailing his life, alleging he served as an agent for Danish intelligence, a claim not confirmed by PET or FE. The book, co-written with journalist Jens Anton Bjørnager, explores his time as a fighter in the Syrian Civil War and his purported collaboration with Danish intelligence. Although his lawsuit for acknowledgment of his spy role was dismissed, an appeal is pending. Samsam was freed last November and an investigation into his case has been commissioned.
