Danish Fitness Brand Nearly Doubles Revenue
Danish clothing company Planet Nusa nearly doubled its revenue in 2023, reaching 73 million Danish kroner up from 38 million the previous year. However, its earnings fell from 4 million kroner in 2022 to 3 million in 2023. Staff costs also rose from about 4.7 million kroner to nearly 14 million, as shown in their financial report. The company opened two new stores in Aarhus and Copenhagen, resulting in a total of three stores in Denmark. The average number of full-time employees increased from 11 to 29 in 2023, with the current number being 54. According to Mille Skat, founder of Planet Nusa, they’ve worked hard to create a well-functioning workplace for growth. The brand, launched in 2018 by Kristine Esmer and Mille Skat, sells sportswear directly to consumers and according to the founders it has shown resilience in 2023, adapting to changing buying behaviors.
