Council takes action against ‘Black Swan’ lawyer

The Bar Council (Advokatrådet) has initiated a case against lawyer Lise Roulund, recognized from the TV 2 documentary ‘The Black Swan’ (Den sorte svane), in the Lawyers’ Disciplinary Board (Advokatnævnet). The council has petitioned for her disbarment and a temporary suspension during the case’s process. These actions follow the surveillance initiated after the documentary’s release in late May, which highlighted Roulund advising ex-Bandidos member Fasar Abrar Raja and offering to share investigation material with him. Further to this, Roulund faces prior police charges for potential money laundering and disclosure of confidential information. While details remain undisclosed, the Bar Council’s investigation into Roulund’s former partner Nicolai Dyhr is ongoing. The Chair of the Bar Council, Martin Lavesen, issued an apology on behalf of the profession and assured zero tolerance for money laundering.
