Minister doubts defense funds suffice

Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen suggests that the cost of bolstering Denmark’s defense could exceed the 300 billion kroner originally estimated, in addition to the 200 billion kroner allocated until 2033. Discussing the Arctic agreement and upcoming NATO strength targets, Poulsen also notes these will involve substantial financial commitments, particularly in Arctic investments. Despite doubts about the adequacy of funds, Poulsen reassures that the necessary money to meet NATO’s defensive strength requirements will be found, emphasizing the commitment to strengthening national defense.
